Strange Neighbour was a creative and curatorial project by Linsey Gosper. Founded by artists Linsey Gosper and David Ashley Kerr in 2013, Strange Neighbour was an art space located on Gore St, Fitzroy comprising of a gallery, artist studios and a black and white darkroom in Naarm \/ Melbourne, Australia. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Strange Neighbour gallery operated from June 21, 2013 – November 12, 2016. It had a unique program of curated and solo exhibitions, experimental sound events, talks and happenings. The curatorial focus was multi-disciplinary and encompassed cross-generational artists. You can see our previous exhibition history here<\/a> and documentation on exhibitions and events here<\/a>.\u00a0Strange Neighbour continued as a darkroom, artist studios, and occasional exhibition space until December 2019 when it permanently closed.<\/p>\n

Strange Neighbour was entirely volunteer run. To the exhibition advisory panel, casual event volunteers, and the interns that ran the space daily, gratitude!<\/p>\n
