EYES IN THEIR SHOULDERS, MOUTHS IN THEIR CHESTS
Adam Boyd
June 26th, 2015 – July 18th, 2015

Strange Neighbour is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Adam Boyd. Eyes In Their Shoulders, Mouths In Their Chests examines the darker states of consciousness through large scale drawings and sculptures. Anamorphic ambiguity subjugates this investigation through a complex layering of images and text. Chaos and order are deliberated through textual fragmentation and dislocation, erasure and the resurrected image. This latest body of works investigates the junction between the surreal and anatomical, drawing from memory and perception. It focuses on the static spaces and linguistic remains of a constructed landscape of memory and forgetting.
